Get Month and Year from SQL statement

Hello Everyone,

I have a Qlikview sheet that is pulling in from a SQL source. I know that if an xls is used, you can format and extract the month, quarter and year in your LOAD statement. I was wondering if there was a way to do this when using a SQL statement.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,

There's no difference to doing it when reading from Excel:

Load

Month(Date) AS Month,

Year(Date) AS Year,

QuarterName(Date) AS Quarter,

Etc

;

SQL Select

Date

From Table1

;
