Set Analysis & Bookmarks

I currently have a Bookmark set up that would include multiple locations. I am having issues getting set analysis set up that would include my bookmark and exclude a series of selections as well as let someone make new selections. Right now when the bookmark is set up it excludes everything but we would still like selections to be made. Essentially I want to be able to compare a set of test locations to a set of control locations using set analysis. It doesn't necessarily have to be a bookmark but I figured that was the best option. Here is what I have started but it's not working 100% like how I would like.

Sum ({$(vTestgroup)<[Child Bskt Id]=,[Child Bskt Nm]=>} [Parent Rev])

Thanks
