Hello

I have a Scatterchart where Y= Rotation, X= Margin and bubble(size) is determined by formula x*y.

I would like to add multiple trendlines with the equations y=1/x, y=0.4/x, y=0.3/x,... Is it possible to add a trendline using some sort of equation?

I will attach a screenshot of the graph and will add a (manually added) trendline (100% and 40%) to give an idea of what the endresult should look like.

Thanks in advance!

Best I have for you is to review the following Help link:

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/qlikview/April2020/Subsystems/Client/Content/QV_QlikView/Ajax/WebView_Scatter%20Chart.htm#anchor-2

You will want to scroll down a bit to find the Trendlines section. That is under the Expression area, not sure if this is what you need or not, but may put you on the right track with things.

Here is a Design Blog post on the Scatter Chart too, might be able to gain something from reviewing that too:

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Qlik-Design-Blog/Recipe-for-a-Scatter-Chart/ba-p/1468860

Regards,
Brett
