Qlikview Server Document - Change Y axis on a graph

Hello,

I have a published document in a Qlikview Server with several bar graphs.

All graphs have an automatic scale for X and Y axis, but the customer is asking to change it manually on the web view.

I have tested on my computer (Dev. mode) using the web view and I'm able to change the scales but on the Qlikview server, when I right-click on the graph and select properties I can see the properties of the expressions but I'm unable to change it. It appears in grey.

No user will be able to change the existing chart on the server. They would need to make an unlinked copy of the chart on the server and then change the unlinked copy.

Have you try using variables?

Ex: Insert in the static fields variables then allow users to enter desired values that will feed into this variable. I tested in my environment and it worked.

You can make it more complex by having another variable evaluating the value entered... if it fits the criteria (Ex: isnum(), specific range of values "1 - 400", etc.) then you allow the variable value in the field
