Group Label substring

Hi i have a chart, with group cycle, my label will be display as you see in my chart:

i want to display only 3 character of my label (example SET, OTT, NOV, DIC etc...)

as the same when i change in the cycle i want to display only some character not all

Can i do that?

ok thank, that can be an idea, but i see for my "month" element in group cycle can be ok, but for the "channel" element in group cycle is not good.

Is possible to filter the value of the group with IF ?

for example:

for element "month" in my group cycle:

if MONTH = 01 write 'JAN'

for element "channel" in my group cycle:

if channel = 'ext' write 'prova canale'

In the Group Settings there is an option to add some logic like to create a Calculated Dimension. Click in the Edit button as you can see in the next screenshot:

But maybe the best idea is to create another field in the script with the logic there. Then use this new field as dimension in the cyclic group.

Thanks, yes i already did that for dimension Month, i wanted not do the same for others fields, i thougth can be do that directly in the chart... but i see i can't do in the chart directly

becouse...i use this group in a chart where i want all my month name is full, and in a chart where i want my month name is substring, the same for the "channel" item, in a chart i want the EXT value (the normal value) in another chart i want the EXT value converted.....
