Hi,

yesterday I've started to play with QlikView to understand if this product could face my needs and the needs of my enterprise. Yesterday I've worked to create a demo on my notebook. Today I've tried to re-open this demo file but Qlikview has told me that I've reached the maximum numbers of recovery for a personal edition license and, so, it doesn't want to open this file.

How can I recover my file? I haven't share with nobody and yesterday I've got only some stability troubles of this software, losing some parts of my work. Please, I don't want to re-create a demo starts from 0...

Thank you

The personal edition allows only a certain times recovery ... it seems you're version already reached that point.
Strangely enough you did not change anything ...

I did have the same problems at one point ... also could not explain what happened ... did not find a solution for this.

It almost seems like QlikView tries to read the file but thinks it needs to be recovered although nothing is changed and the file is created on the same computer and nothing was changed in between ... Maybe this is a little bug of QlikView personal edition??

Which version of QV9 are you running? There was a bug in the first release of QV9 (IR) that acted a bit strange in personal edition.

Make sure that you have downloaded QlikView 9 SR2 on the download page. Problems related to personal edition are solved in that version.
