Disable bar charts colors & use background expression instead

Hi,

I have a bar chart with a conditional expression.

For each expression I defined a background color.

But the colors are still retrieved from the Colors tab.

Is there a way to disable the default Colors and use a background color with expression only?

HI Dafnis X,

if you have conditioned color background and your don't set the colours for true and false, QlikView will return the default color for false options.

Could you attach one example of your app to see your expressions please?

Hi Manuel,

I have used variables for the color.

For example:

vBranchColor RGB(255,169,0).

But now I realized that I should have defined it

=RGB(255,169,0).

Another words, I have forgotten the equal sign..

Don't worry, i don't know that you have calculated it with vars.
