Hi Fiber,

You can use the Settings menu, Expression Overview to check whether a field is being used somewhere in your objects. I don't know if the checks there scope all possibilities or if you may miss some part of objects.

Regards.

Hi everybody!

Again me! I´ve got several pivot tables and graphs distributed in 9 tabs on my qvw file. Logically, they are minimized and now I want to exclude some fields from the script that they aren´t necesary (I think) for my analysis. My doubt is that I don´t know if they are used in an object. So, is there any tool to review used fields by object?

Thanks in advanced

Fiber

Hi Fiber.

There is an existing QlikView application that allows you to analyse an existing qvw file.

It gives you the non used fields that could help you and lot of other tips.

This file was developped by Rob Wunderlich (Rob you're wonderful !)

Regards,

Sébastien
