      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;hi all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I hve two container objects....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;means container within container&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;in one container 3charts&amp;nbsp; and other container 3charts....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;my requrmnt is&amp;nbsp; i need to set default selection in evry container&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;example:cont1: i hve lik &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;:daysband &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;with in dis&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; days ,week ,years&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;cont2:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;:trend&amp;nbsp; &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;within dis&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;opened ,closed,nill &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;so i select daysband cont&amp;nbsp; i need to dispaly frst chart {means:days}&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;when i select&amp;nbsp; trend&amp;nbsp; always it wil shw frst chart as opened&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;is there any way&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks in advance&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's not quite clear what do you want to do. If you speaks about normal field-selections - they will be independent from the container, maybe the use of one or two selection-triggers or the use of dimension-groups might be useful.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you want to create any depencies between the container and their active objects you would need macros which usage isn't recommended: &lt;A href="https://community.qlik.com/qlik-blogpost/3700"&gt;Macros are Bad&lt;/A&gt;. In such cases is it better not to use container else buttons and/or listboxes to control the visibilities of those objects and other things like selections. But quite often you get the best usability if you could avoid any of such on top logic which often only confused the user without real added value.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;- Marcus&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
