Compare same dimension in PivotTable

Hi everybody,

may I pls ask for help regarding the following: I have a pivot table with dimensions Year and Month and a few expressions, like Units, Revenue etc.

I would like to add a dimension where I can compare the evolution of the expressions across the dimensions (like absolut difference same month in different years etc).

How can I achieve this via calculated dimensions in PivotTable?

I attach a small screenshot of my PivotTable.

I don't understand what you're trying to do. Can you post a qlikview document that demonstrates the problem?

I cannot post the QV file - it's very large.

But I attach a short capture of what I want to achieve based on my previous capture.

I'm sorry, this QVD is linked to a huge data warehouse and I am not confident enough in my QV skills that I reduce and scramble the right content.

Hi,

You can try to use the Before() function.

i.e. : add Before(sum(YourField)) as a new measure in your pivot table and see.
