Text as pop-up issue in SR9 bug? (11.20.12664.0)

I was working with the text as pop-up option.

I have the issue that this is not working anymore (for me) in SR9.

I doubled checked with Stephen Redmond's example from the cookbook and I do not get the results as expected. I attached the test QVW.

Hi Michiel,

I've raised a query with Qlik Support about this recently - the example provided in the cookbook and various other places works in SR10 but doesn't in SR7, I was specifically working with a gauge chart but it's the same functionality. I'm unsure if it "broke" for a few SRs but is now back - in any case, I opened your app and the pop-up function works fine in SR10, if you're able to upgrade to that SR?

I'll append your issue onto my query and let you know what I hear back.

Upgraded to SR10 and indeed, the pop-up works again.

Glad it's fixed!

I got a response from support earlier today, they confirmed this was a reoccurrence of a bug and lasted from SR7 to SR9. It's documented in the SR10 release notes as bug number 69025 (see below):

69025 [Text as Pop-up] in [Chart Properties] -> [Expressions] doesn't pop up custom message since QV11.2 SR7
