Hi Deepak,

That dint work dude.. I Maximixed the same chart. Placed the legend from where it is now, to top right. And now when I minimise to see it, the legend is not seen ! It has been gone out of the object. But when I maximize again..there it appears again at the top right corner where I placed it previously while it was in maximized state.

How to lock legend positions ?

I am using Qlikview 9 SR4.

Using cntrl+shift+R I am able to move/resize the contents of a chart. Now the problem I face is, I position the chart and title according to my requirement and place the legend on right had top side of the chart object. All is fine till there. Now when I maximize the chart, this legend position is not locked to the right top of the object and used to overlap the bars of the chart. I expect the legend position to be anchored to top right corner of the chart irrespective of whether it is maximized or not.

Is there a solution for this??

Providing here an example of this issue.

1st figure shows how the chart looks when it is in normal view. I have moved the legend to the require position using cntrl+shift+R.

2nd figure shows how the chart looks when maximized. The legend comes and lays in some arbitary position, and sometimes even overlaps the chart bars .

hi,

Once you maximize the pie chart you have to again set the position to right by reducing the pie. You have to adjust both maximize and minimize state so that it stays at same position. It might be a one time job.

Didnt find any option to lock the legends.. but will let you once I figure out the same.

Hi,

I am interested to know if you found a solution to this problem as I am having the same issue?

It becomes even more of a problem when you insert the object into a report as, if the size of the chart is different between the sheet and the report, then you can only get the position of the legend right in one or the other but not both.

Thanks in advance
