document propperties triggers dissapear

Hi all..

I have a situation.

I have trigeers in document propperties, But sometimes dessapear.

Someone know why it happens?

Are you talking about FIeld Event Triggers? Here is one scenario where Field Event Trigger(s) disappear.

1. Create a trigger for field "Y".

2. Reload script and script completes without creating field "Y". That could be for several reasons such as an intentional EXIT SCRIPT, or pressing "OK" after a script error. In any case, if the script completes without field "Y", the trigger will be lost.

3. Reload the script with field "Y". The trigger will not reappear as it was lost in step 2.

there is any way to recover the action of this field ???

Or simple do a back up of all document. without data ?

I believe a backup is your only recourse to recover the trigger.

I have also noticed that field triggers are being lost during a document refresh. This is happening intermittently with no changes in the source script.

I'm using V 11.00.11282.0 SR1

The reload is being done by a batch file command.

Anyone else getting these problems?

If you remove all data in your application your triggers will be lost. At least before 11.2 SR5

I really encourage you to update your Qv software. SR1 is a couple years old at this point and many bugs have been fixed. The current release is SR9.
