How to create Product Value Brackets (dynamically based any selection)

Hi All

Just need your extended support for one of our client reuiqrement.

We pasted (Hardcoded) our reuirement in the .qvw .

What we need here is how to bring a Bracket into List box or user defined field. or calculated dimension.

We need to calculate dynamically based on period as well as other selections.

Hi Rainer

What you have done is based on revenue .

We need to explore more to find our requirement . We requred here is " My top 20% cusotmers (Revenue wise ) contributing how much % of my total revenue " instead of "Which customers contributing "%" of my revenue "

I hope you can definitely provide me some links.

Hi,

maybe the "Pareto" function could help:

Add Action Dialog (Create a Button=> Properties => Actions => Add => Select => Pareto Select)

Pareto Select

Makes a pareto selection in the specified field based on an expression and percentage. This type of selection is used to select the top contributors to a measure, typically in line of a general 80/20 rule. For example, to find the top customers that contribute to 80% of the turnover, Customer should be used as field, sum(Turnover) should be used as expression and 0.8 should be used as percentage.
