I have not used gauge charts very often, so would welcome some advice.

My chart shows sales throughout the year, so the length of the gauge represents max sales for the year.

The green portion represents sales to-date and the bright red portion represents expected sales to-date.

I have 2 questions:

how can I best label the 3 sections?

sometimes the actual sales to-date is larger than the expected sales to-date - in this case the bright red area disappears under the green area ..... I'd like to show the bright red area somehow (I have tried playing with colour transparency)

Thanks
