In a list box, how do I always get the first value to show up as selected in the list as default ?

What is the condition for the first value and you can use always one value selected in the list box option from properties.

Had you tried with always one selected value option?

Select any value in you list box.

Go to properties General and select always one selected value.

Can't select that for some reason, even with one chosen field in the list box

Did you try first select any value in the list box and then apply this option Always one selected.

If this is calculated field in front-end this will not work.

Push this calculation to script, and apply that on list box instead of derived field in the front-end.

Let me know if that worked.
