Hi Zagzebski,

go to 'Settings', 'Document Properties' and click on 'Alternate States'. Click on 'Add', type in e.g. 'Group A' and click on 'OK'.

Then right click on your straight tabel, go to the 'Chart Properties', 'General'. Open the drop down menu 'Alternate States' and click on 'Group A'. That's all. Your straight table does no longer follow any selections made in other states than 'Group A'.

Please try.

Hope this helps

Burkhard

I have a simple table box where I want to list everything with no selections. How can I disregard all selections that a user might make?

Thanks in advance.

It looks like you can't 'detach' the table box. How about creating a new alternate state:

Settings -> Document Properties -> Alternate States

And assigning the new alternate state to that table box only:

Properties -> General -> Alternate State
