does any one know how to generate the report section as shown in the below dashboard example.. how the dimension and matrix fields are been created??

This type of reports are Adhoc Reports you can also find this in your system it self. If you are using the Qlikview version 11 then you can find this in your system named Whats New in Qlikview 11.qvw and on that see the Reports sheet. For Dimension and metrics you have to create the Inline tables as Metric and dimension table separately.

In the Reports tab->Edit Report-->Create a new Report and just drag the object to view in Report

hi Massimo

sorry about the late reply.. ur link helped me alot...but i have a small problem..when i select a dimension and a metric how can i make certain fields disabled so that the user can not select them for what ever the calculations?? is it possible??
