Can anyone let me know when and why Reduce Data- Keep Possible Values option on File used in qlikview with an example

this will give you what ever the data you want in the application that only will give remaining data will be permanently goes off.

so keep backup of QVW while doing this .

Hi,

I Use this technique when I want to push an app to a server.

if the size of the app is heavy, when you make some selections and use reduce data - keep selected values, the app becomes very light and easily transferable in the network

Automatically, when the app is reloaded, on the server or using a desktop version. Data is present on your source Files/databases and it is reloaded using the script.

this technique will not affect the reloads.
