Hi All,

It is possible to recover the Qlikview file? Actually My file size is 260 MB. WHEN i was trying to save My QlikView App that time it shows out of virtual memory and one pop up message shows Internal Type D Detected.

after closing that pop up window my Qlikview App size shows 8 mb?

It is possible to recover my app?

Increase virtual memory size and try again.

Have you tried opening it? You may still have the script and the objects with just the data 'lost'.

Other than that you need to contact support.

My biggest worry is how to get my old application? because I don't have back up application for latest.

it is possible to recover from qlikview server or qlikview itself?

Ya I am trying to open that file but its not open.

It show Failed to open.

Have a look at the QV Ref Manual pages 46/47 about opening the document without data:

Open "Document" Without Data

Opens the document but skips table and field data. What you get is a

layout with all sheets and sheet objects in place but empty. This feature

can be useful e.g. for opening corrupted documents or for

avoiding long waits when opening very large documents.....

Hi,

I am sure that you are not using Personal Edition if it is the case and you have not developed this application on that machine. It has given you 5 times to recover the application and already opened it without data.

In this you need to check with support.

Thanks for ur reply. But My Problem is, I developed 1 application in the app size is 260 mb my ram size is 4 gb. when i was saved the application it shows out of virtual memory, and 1 pop up box shows Internal D is detected. when i press ok button, My file size shows 8 mb only.

I assumed the application is saving 8 mb only after that its not saved.

After I am trying to open that application, its not opened. rest of the application are opening.

How i ll recover that app???

Hi Satish,

Create a batch file and reload this file using this.

"C:\Program Files\QlikView\Qv.exe" /nodata "C:\QlikView Data\Sales Dashboards.qvw"

Afer that you can try to open it with out data.

Furthermore, you can check why the filesize is huge and try to check the data modelling sturcture of the application.
