List Box

Dear All,

i have a two list boxes

if i select one value in first list box

it could show only based on filters ,its highliting the values it won't filtering

how can i do this is there any expression

i need to show only highlited values

In the Listbox properties, General tab, check 'Hide Excluded'

in the Sort tab in properties, select ascending for state. that should help!

Try to use table box instead of listbox

Yes, unfortunately, the space will always be there if you are using a list box. instead you can use a table chart...so for example your dimension will have the expression you are using for your list box, but in expressions, use =1 and click on the plus sign to the left of the expression and use same color for background color and text color and minimize the size of the column manually or hide the column. this is only one way....there are other ways depending on your data structure and data.

I have tried to implement by using variables.

List box 1 is CountryCode. you can have a look at attached qvw.

Step1: Define a variable

Variable1=Concat(CountryCode,chr(39)&','&chr(39))

Step 2: have below conditional expression in second list box.

=if(isnull(GetFieldSelections(CountryCode)),CountryName,if(match(CountryCode,'$(Variable1)'),CountryName))

Here I am assuming CountryCode is your first dimension and CountryName is second dimension
