Switching dimension in chart on clicking the button

Hi,

I have a chart in which i want to show sales and there are two dimensions 1st is Year and other is monthname.

I have two years of data and my primary requirement is to make a button ,on clicking that button dimension of that chart should change,

means if its monthyear by default then on clicking on year button dimension should change to year in the same chart.

i am unable to do it, plz help
