Is there a way to rotate labels on x axis of a grid chart?

I am trying to put the x-axis labels of my grid chart to appear vertically. I was able to rotate the x-axis labels with a bar chart, but I do not see the diagonal/vertical options for the x axis labels with a grid chart. Does anyone know how?

I think it requires a trick. Once you have your grid chart created, change it to a line or bar chart and go the Axis tab in the properties. Change it to vertical. Then, change it back to a grid chart.

I think it's actually a missing option for the grid chart. Perhaps it's in the works in a future release?

Can you specify what in the Axes tab is "it"? What are you changing to "Vertical"?

I have my grid chart created and I want my x-axis to be displayed vertically like the y-axis and the y-axis to become the new x-axis.

What I am referring to is the Primary Dimension Labels. You will see a dash ‘-‘, slash ‘/’ and pipe ‘|’ along with radio buttons. Select the vertical line (pipe) and then change it back to a grid chart.

If you want to swap x-axis with y-axis, you can go to properties -> dimensions tab. I assume you have two dimensions in the used dimensions window. You can select the second dimension in the used dimensions window and click "promote". You see the order of the two dimensions change in the window. That should do it.

In the chart, the first dimension appears as the x-axis and the second appears as the y axis.
