Hi,

I am newbie to Qlikview. I am looking demo applications on qlik.com.

I saw the executive dashboard demo application and want to create a similar application.

I think Qlikview is not publishing qvw files, am I right?

I also wonder the charts at the top of the dashboard like revenue vs budget.

There is a green bar reside horizontally and there is a black line which resides vertically.

I could not realize the meaning of the line. And I do not know the name of the chart so could not search it.

Assuming you have installed the QlikView Desktop as per it defaults, then you should find various example qvw's, including Executive Dashboard.qvw in this folder:

C:\Program Files\QlikView\Examples\Documents

If you select a demo from the demo.qlik.com start page then you can find a download link for the qvw document under the heading Demo Viewing Options.

The green line and the gray line that follows it are a bar chart that show how revenue scores compared to budget. A marker is set for 100%. That's the vertical black line. Revenue exceeds budget by 7% so the green line passes the 100% marker.
