Hello,
I have the following problem with this expression:

column 1:

=IF ( sum({$<AccountingStateMonth ={1}>} AccountInitalDebit)+ Sum(if(AccountingStateMonth<=Month1,AccountMonthDebit))- sum({$<AccountingStateMonth ={1}>} AccountInitalCredit) - Sum(if(AccountingStateMonth<=Month1,AccountMonthCredit))>0,
sum({$<AccountingStateMonth ={1}>} AccountInitalDebit)+ Sum(if(AccountingStateMonth<=Month1,AccountMonthDebit))- sum({$<AccountingStateMonth ={1}>} AccountInitalCredit) - Sum(if(AccountingStateMonth<=Month1,AccountMonthCredit)),0)

column 2:

=IF ( sum({$<AccountingStateMonth ={1}>} AccountInitalDebit)+ Sum(if(AccountingStateMonth<=Month1,AccountMonthDebit))- sum({$<AccountingStateMonth ={1}>} AccountInitalCredit) - Sum(if(AccountingStateMonth<=Month1,AccountMonthCredit))>0,

In column 4 i want to divided (column 1/column 2).

why the result is 0.

Please HELP!

Daniel,

Your question is a bit confusing.

The expression for Column 1 and Column 2 in your post are both the same. I'm guessing though that Column 1 is supposed to show the account balance if it is positive, and 0 if -ve. Column 2 is opposite - show balance if -ve, or 0 if +ve.

If that's the case, either column 1 or column 2 will always be zero. So dividing Column 1 / Column 2 will always return 0.

What are you trying to calculate?
