Data model with two transaction tables.

Dear All ,

I have two transaction tables linked with one master table with different keys,

Both transaction table has date fields.

i need data from the two transaction tables against the dimentions and common calender kindly help.

Cannot join the master with transaction as more masters linked via the master table and the huge size of master table.

Hi,

There is two way to handle muliple transaction (fact) table in QlikView. First option is using CONCATENATE feature we can combine the tables and make a single big transaction table keeping the matching key field. Another option is using Link table: What you need to do here just load both the table seperate and create a link table based on all the possible values from both the table. So in link table solution both the transaction table will point to link table then link table will point to master table. Link table solution is bit difficult to implement but Concatenate is straight forward.
