Except Current Selections

Hi All,

I have the following

NUM(COUNT(DISTINCT {1-$} [Full Path]),'#,##0')

this gives me all file paths not in my selection

however if I select a user the number does not change.

How can I add if a user is selected

Yes, here is a file, I have reduced the data and scrambled

I have buttons at the side called .p and .r etc

however I have scrambled the File Paths so they may not work

I need to know how when .p is selected and a user is selected it will show me all not selected files by user and the .p selection

You probably reduced a bit too drastically. There's only the .P value in the File dimension. There also seem to be no files that end in a .P extension. Your demo file doesn't demonstrate the problem to me tbh. If I modify a button to select in field Full Path the values ending in .n and click it then three files get selected, along with three customers. If I then select one of those three customers I end up with 1 file found and 11 files unselected. Those numbers match the values in your text boxes. The two numbers always add up to 12.

I need to determine if I select the .P files and I have 1000 files

I have 1000 selected 5000 unselected, but when I choose Alan(a user)

it shows

50 .p files for Alan and 5950 other files

but I need to show only Alans remaining files, which could be 450
