I’m having trouble aggregating inventory turnover on a simple line graph.

My Expression definition is: Sum ([Annual Inventory Cost])/Sum ([Month End Inventory
Valuation])

The calculation works fine for individual items but here’s my problem:

Inventory comes in three categories, Purchased, Work-In-Process-and Finished Goods. As for costs, each
category rolls up into the next, where WIP costs includes Purchased Costs and Finished Goods costs include WIP costs.

The calculated turnover for ALL inventory, uses the sum of all three which isn’t correct. The numerator is a mismatch and must only contain annual costs for Finished Goods, with fully rolled up costs.

What am I missing?

Thanks,

Mike
