Trellis chart with actions

I'm trying to make a dashboard with a row of gauges made as a Trellis chart.

I want to display other graphs depending on which gauge in the Trellis chart the user clicks.

Can anybody help me with some code to set a value in a variable depending on which of these gauges the user clicked.

... or are there any other way to do this?

I resolved the problem with buttons under trellis chart (I know, you have to press the button ... but I did not find any other way)

I've also thought of that solution, but then you are not flexible regarding the number of gauges (unless you hide the buttons you don't need).
