Impossible to add Extension object

Hi Everybody,

I'm facing a problem while using WebView mode with Personal Edition.

I clicked n a .qar file which was installed properly (i got a message for installed files and i checked the directory)

But whan i want to add a extension object i get an error message (see picture)

Isn't it possible to use this with Desktop Personal Edition?

Hi Chris,

Has this issue been resolved, even I am facing the same issue. Extension objects are getting installed but they are not available to add in document.

I am getting the same error message.

Namaste Dinesh,

I had no clue to solve the pb but out of the sudden it just vanished and i can now add an extension object.

Don't ask me how and why...mystery of computers!

I hope it act the same for you, but if one day you find the reason, please let me know

I have this same problem since a week.

Cant use any extensions

Which version of QlikView do you have and which version of IE?

Upgrading IE to version 10 can result in this problem if you aren't running 11.2 SR3 och SR4

Hi Chris,

Good News!!

We have found solution for this.

Case 1: If you are using QlikView 11.00 SR1, then you should have Internet Explorer 9 installed on your machine.

Case 2: If you are using QlikView 11.20 SR3, then you should have Internet Explorer 10 installed on your machine.

So 11.00 SR1 goes with I.E. 9 and 11.20 SR3 goes with I.E. 10
