Excluding a value from a set

I have a button that selects every value in the field [BR Group] that starts with C by putting the (C*) in the search string of the Action Tab in the Button's properties. (See below...the property window of the button)

What string do I need to use to extract all of the values that start with C but not the value C7?

Define two Actions:

Action 1: Select in Field, Field Name: [BR Group], Search String: C*

Action 2: Toggle Select, Field Name: [BR Group], Search String: C7*
