Hi,

a very basic question rgd. the GUI design in my curent document: How do I generate a frame around a diagram, with some distance to the actual diagram area? I have tried using line objects, but there is some blank padding around the line in those objects which prevents me from joining them at the corners.

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

DataNibbler

Hi Friedrich,

You may try again by keeping those line object on each others.

Just match the end points by dragging them to the end to end. The corners will be joined and it will give you the look of frame.

Thanks

Advait

Hi Advait,

that does not work for me. I can change settings for the height and width of the line_object - I can set the width to 5 for horiz. lines and the height to 5 for vert. lines (5 seems to be the minimum), but still, when I bring the two lines very close to each other, one seems to be covered by the other, there always remains 1+mm of white space between them.

@ vishwaranjan

That link does currently not work, I'll have a look as soon as it works.

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

DataNibbler
