Export to excel , exporting to CSC

I am using QV 11 server and Developer.

I am facing one strainge issue of export to excel

While I am exporting the chart in excel, its export to CSV if data more than 65000 but for less data its export to slx.

Its happening on server as well as Clients machine.

Pleas help.

That's because of backwards compatibility with older versions of excel that can only handle 65K rows.

You can change this with an 'easter egg' setting. In the Help menu select About Qlikview. Then right click on the Qlikview icon in the lower left corner. Find the entry RowLimitForCsvInsteadOfXls. You can then increase the value from 65500 to a higher number. Note, this may cause a performance penalty on your server.

Thank friend,

Now its working on Desktop, local machine.

But when I am exporting on client machine , if rows are more than 65 k the file opening in browser not saving in excel.

Need your help again.

I got the solution

Just need to add a line in setting.ini for row limit.
