Hide repeated cols(Year) while exporting to excel

Hi,

When exporting the pivot table to excel Year repeating for Qurter.can any suggest how i can do the merge in qlikview as only one year .Im also using CIA report manger can anyone suggest how I can avoid in CIA Reports Manager

Header 1	Header 2	Header 3	Header 4	Header 5	Header 6	Header 7	Header 8
2011					2012	Need to merge as one Year for 2012 ALSO
Q1	Q2	Q3	Q4	Q1	Q2	Q3	Q4

Hi Sri Ram,

If I understood correctly you wish to have all the cells with same year to be merged in excel while exporting.

For this you can see the difference between the outputs when you click Send to Excel Icon and the Export when you right Click Copy To Clipboard -> Full Table -> Paste. The Second method gives you export the way you wish to Export the data.

To achieve this please check for examples with Obj.PasteSpecial that will give you the desired output.

Can you have any idea how we can do it in Qlikview, add on CIA report Manager?
