Thank you for your reply, I'll try to change the conditions of the second sheet (tab). I don't know where to do that right now, but I'll find out... Thank you again for your answer.

Hello all,

as a new QlikView user, this forum has given me a lot of usefull information regarding the usage of QlikView. However, I couldn't find an answer to the following question:

In my QlikView application, I've got two tabs. On tab one, a 'Standard Table Graph' is shown to show the searchresults of a search. I would like to use the second tab to show detail information about the search result selected in the standard table graph of tab 1. My logic was to do the following: by automatically showing detail information in tab 2 (if possible) from the top search results (first row) from the standard table graph on tab 1. Is this possible? If it is, how can I script/modify this in my application to make it perform this action?

---------------- EDIT ----------------

Or another solution, don't allow access to tab 2 before selecting maximum and minimum 1 row from the standard table graph on tab 1. Is this possible?

----------------------------------------

Kind regards,

Martijn te Molder

The selections that you do on any tab apply to whole document. On first tab you can create a Table Chart with minimum info, on second one - a detailed. That's it.

If you need to hide the second tab, you can use a condition for the sheet to display and analyze current selection there.
