Dynamically Add Dimensions in Line Chart

Hi,

I have a 'Question' filter that contains upto 50 questions. At the moment the line chart shows one line whether one question is selected or 2, or 3 , or 4 etc etc

Is it possible to dynamically add lines to a chart depending on what is selected in the Question list box?

Yes, add your Question field as second dimension to your chart. The values of the second dimension will each get a line. You can use a listbox to select which values (and so which lines) should be shown.

Hi,

Thanks for your quick reply. Ive added 'Question Description' as a second dimension. But it hasnt looked to have worked. Ive attached a screen print of the chart options.

Is this correct?

I think that you need something like the 'Reports' tab in the 'Whats new in QV11' demo app http://us.demo.qlik.com/detail.aspx?appName=Whats%20New%20in%20QlikView11.qvw (you can download the QVW!)

You can use conditions in your dimensions and expressions to dynamically customize the user report.
