How to set an unique dimension from 2 different dates?

Hi!

I’m trying to set up a “Graphic Chart” which displays the input and output of requirements.

The expression is the following: “count(Req)”

The problem comes when I try to set the dimension.

Table “Requirements” contains the following fields: “Date_Input” and “Date_Output”.

I cannot display both Dimensions on the chart, I just want an unique Dimension above time. The purpose of the graphic is to show input and output of requirements above time.

Is there any way I can do this? Master Calendar? How do I set it up?

Not sure if I’m being clear enough, hope to get a solution to this.

You can either use a master calendar with a link table or a calendar as data island.

There are many threads here in the forum covering both approaches, just search for master calendar, link table, multiple dates etc.
