Clear Selection button

Hi,

I added a button to do the clear selection functionality. I did the following, New Sheet object, chose button, Function -> Shortcut.

On the Shortcut tab, when I try to select Clear All Selections including Locked, there is one field or the other selected in the Field drop down. But this shouldn't depend on any field value. Any idea how to make the field value blank?

You dont have to clear that field value it should work when u select the fields in that selection and clear all selections including locked in function

Right click--> New Sheet Object--> Button--> Actions --> Add--> Under "Action Type" the word "Selection" is already defaulted--> in the "Action" box just to the right choose "Clear All"

If you want to clear a locked selection you can add an "Unlock" action prior to adding the "Clear All" action.

thanks we can make buttons for forward and back as well ( in actions)
