Set Variable when User Selects Listbox, Not Select Listbox Value ... GotFocus ?

Relatively new to Qlikview and I am wanting to set a variable when the user selects a Listbox, similiar to a GotFocus type of event. Right now I am using the control triggers for when the data in the list box is selected or changed which does the trick, but is not the behavior I am really seeking.

I'm also trying to avoid laying a text box with an action on top of the Listbox caption.

Qlikview 11.

Hi,

I think you can solve this issue by using triggers, not on selecting values but the whole listbox. Go to Sheet Properties, chose object, Add Action(s)... under headline "OnActivate", Add, External / Set Variable.
