Adding shared server objects

Hi there,

We are trying to share an object amongst users in QV11. After we have selected in the properties menu that it should be shared with all users it doesn't appear in the sheet. Is there a place where I can choose which shared objects I want to add to the sheet? Thanks for your help! Btw we are using QV11.

Hi,

Just been looking at the same thing and after creating an object in the browser I expected to be able to right click and find a "Share this object" option in the menu which allowed me to share the object with either All users or with specific users I select, It is not there - there must be some setting in the document or in the QMC to enable or disable this. I cant find it!

Any hints anyone!

More info - it seems you can do this in IEPLugin but not in AJAX - can anyone confirm if this is "Working as Designed!!"

In AJAX right click on object

But at the moment my other users logged on still cant seet it!!

OK - Maybe it did - In AJAX you have to go into Repository (the 3dGraph Icon) and you will find the shared objects in the list of objects. It seems if you want to use them you have to drag them on to your sheet.

Repository icon is disabled, Can you please suggest me on this.

I need view shared bookmarks of others. without repository I am unable to do it.
