Comparing data between months

Hello all,

I have a staff file. What I want to do is see the number of new hires and people that leave per month. The data is an excel file with names, staff numbers etc. So what I want is compare the staff numbers and see if a staff number has left in the next month and then name this on, exit or something.

Same I want to do look a month back and see if the number then existed and name that one hired.

In the excel file they look it up with a Vlookup and see if the number existed in the previous month but I am not sure how to make this possible in qlikview.

I attached the file, hopefully it is clear what I mean.

See attached.

The 'Analyse' tab is were the required pivot table is in.

The data has been split into the different months (raw data is everything is one sheet). The second and thirth column have been added with the Vlookups etc. Bestaand means Existing (already working there). Uitstroom means the person left in that month and instroom means it is a new hire.
