Hello All

SAP stores the given input Measuring values in SI format. I have to change this SI format again to Normal Number. Now here the MeadRdg_READG value is 1000476,999x10^6 and to the translation to get the correct value is in the texttable in the attached figure. Hope someone can help me. how to convert it.

wouldn´t it be easy to make the transformation when loading the info? (SQL)

I agree with Adriano, do it during the load, either way, if you want to use Qlikview functions to build the number,

use subfield to split the number into mantissa and exponent (the mantissa is to the left of the +, the exponent is to the right)

Then the actual number is mantissa * pow(10,exponent)

If your exponents can be negative (e.g. 1.23456-09) then be careful to use the correct sign in the exponent.
