HI Guys,

I have added Pivot table or straight table and I want to add new row to the table. Is it possible in qlikview? any pointers?

What do you mean with adding a new row??

QlikView is a tool for viewing ... a use cannot add rows to tables themselves if this is what you mean.

thanks for reply!!! Requirement is of adding row. What they are looking for is what if scenario.What is the impact on parent node , if they create new children under existing parent with some X value.

I hope this can help in your case.

Try using this "Inputfield". So you will have this input field for each parent.

But to create more child for the parent dynamically, i don't know. Once i get few things related to that, post you.

I implemneted Input field , which allows me to change parent-child relation ship but as I specify I need to add children to the parents.If uou find something, please let me know.
