Intervals on Chart

Guys,

I have been after this for quite some days now.This is what I am after

Create a Line chart or any chart for that matter which should have an interval of 10 days on the x axis.

The days are coming from an sql query.So I cannot generate any dates from a Qlik View Script.

The Days in the sql query are from the year 2009 to 2011.

These dates do not follow any pattern like they are not separated by any intervals.

But as they are huge in number I need to show the dates with a 10 day interval.

With whatever I have tried earlier I found out that we need to set in the static step of the chart.

But I am unable to do so.Could anybody get me out of this.If a demo qvw file is generated then it will be really helpful.
