How can i perform sorting in pivot table and how do i show only top 5 records in pivot table?????????/

Hi Binod,

I don't think you can restrict the number of records in Pivot table. Sorting can be done only on dimension in a pivot table by getting into Chart Properties>Sort.

Hi Binod,

To show restricted no of rows you better go to Straight table.

But just for sorting in pivot table Right Click on the Pivot Table -> on the sort tab there would be one Expression check box just check it & paste your expression over here & set ascending/descending.
