Below is snapshot of my data.

This is how my Pivot table looks like. Each year in the column is further divided into quareters and months. Each row labels is further divided into names. Can this be reproduced as such in QlikView.

I tried expanding all the data and tried to load it but if I do that I will get null values.

@Florian..I tried the wizard but the "Execution of the script failed"!

I am a new QlikView user. I have a Excel Pivot table to be loaded into QlikView. The Pivot Table consists of various dimensions (the row labels and column labels has lots of expands and collapse!). How can I load the similar structure as in Excel into QlikView?

Hi,

please load in qlikview only the row data where you got the pivottable from. Then enter in QlikView a new chart and here pivottable, then you can rebuild the Pivottable

Hi Subashsivaji,

that may depend on the complexity of your source pivot and how it is configured in your sourcefile. Probably you have missing values for the dimensions values which will require the use of previous() or peek() function during your load. Furthermore if you need a normalized data structure, you must make use of the crosstable function. As your source is Excel you can use the wizard to find out how it works.

cheers

Florian
