I believe this:

sum({<whatever set you use for YTD>} total <"ITEM Family","ItemType","Ship to"> Sales)

"Total" says to ignore all of the dimensions, and then the list next to it tells it what dimensions to NOT ignore. So the expression above ignores only the Company dimension.

Hi Everyone,

I have something like this in the Pivot table I have attached (Excel).

[View:http://community.qlik.com/cfs-file.ashx/__key/CommunityServer.Discussions.Components.Files/11/0268.Example.xls:550:0]

I want the Column 1 to be independent of Company (A,B,C) which is one of the dimension in pivot table. I tried Set analysis, but still the Company dimension is applied to Column 1.

FYI, Column 1 is the sum of YTD Sales for the Items.

Is there something that I am missing,in terms of Set Analysis, or any other way to make the Column1 to be independent of the Companies in the pivot table.
