When I create a new guage chart type I cannot change the Plot Area Background Style from shadow. The drop down is grayed out. What do I have to do to remove the frame from a guage?

Thanks,

John

John,

"Plot Area Formatting" has nothing to do with it... You can remove the border on the Layout tab (uncheck "Use Borders", and you can set the background to transparent on the Colors tab. Also, you probably want to remove the Caption by unchecking "Caption" on the Caption Tab. Between those three, you should be able to get rid of all frames.

good luck!

Oleg
