<title>topic CSV Import with Carriage Return characters in QlikView</title>
    <link>https://community.qlik.com/t5/QlikView/CSV-Import-with-Carriage-Return-characters/m-p/1727787#M592956</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;I have a CSV file I want to Load in a script. One of the fields is a long string of text that may contain CR characters (multiple lines). Qlikview must read these as being the end of a record and as such tries to create a new record when it encounters one of these. Is there someway to get it to ignore these and keep them as part of the field they belong to? I guess another way to put it would be - Can the End of Record character be specified as something else?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
