Hello,

I have a table that contains calendar information. I am trying to apply "autonumber" such that I have sequential numbers for month & year combination. The enclosed file has the calendar table and desired output in column F.

I tried autonumber (Year & Month) but it did not give the right output. It always gives higher priority to month than year. I hope I am clear.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Hello,

I'd try as follows

MonthYear:LOAD StartDate, EndDate, Month, Qtr, Year, AutoNumber(Month & Year) AS Sequential, [Desired Output]FROM File.xls;
